Our goal is to encourage female teens who are curious about the Computer Science industry. If you would consider yourself creative/insightful, and you're good with problem solving, CS is definitely an industry to consider.
Computer Science is a rapidly growing career option. According to this article by TechCrunch, every year Google and Facebook battle over the top computer science graduates from colleges across the country with starting salaries of up to $70,000, right out of college.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, computer scientists are projected to grow "much faster than average". From 2006 to 2016, the CS occupation is expected to grow 37%. The BLS also reports that the starting salary offers for graduates with a bachelor's degree in computer science averaged $53,396.
